Ø  To establish and foster close relationships between English and German speaking students at the University of  Newcastle upon Tyne

Ø  To give students a notion of the culture and social life in countries with a German or English language background

Ø  To provide an enjoyable environment for language practice

Ø  To facilitate German and English speaking students in improving their language skills.

Ø  To provide a link between outbound and returning exchange students.

Ø  To provide a link between inbound and outbound exchange students that will assist them in choosing and in gaining the most from their exchange placements.
